To Sister Mary Ellen (my sister):

Thank you for teaching me how to ride a tricycle, how to play records on a phonograph machine, teaching me about the solar system, introducing me to Sister Claire Markham (who was able to make me understand Physics), and for countless other lessons on life, learning, science, and human behavior.

We had a great conversation about earthquakes and continental plates and oil spills two weeks ago, didn't we?

Best wishes throughout the next chapter in your spiritual life adventure.

By the way, the Red Sox are still playing poorly.
