Michael Corcoran Obituary
Michael Joseph Corcoran, born March 22, 1960, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015. He was the beloved son of Gerald J. Corcoran and the late Mary R. Corcoran. Mike always had a sense of adventure and visions of what he wanted to do and how to accomplish those goals, which led him to the Navy for a short time. He relished his independence and experiences while stationed in North Carolina. Upon his return, he had an unfortunate accident which left him permanently disabled. While his goals were now changed, his love of life and family kept him going. He had an infinite love for each of his nieces and nephews, and the love was returned tenfold. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our son, brother and uncle, but know he is now at peace. Mike is survived by his father, Gerald J. Corcoran, brother Jerry Corcoran and wife Kathy, sisters Anne Ciak and fiancé Dean and Margaret Guglietta and fiancé Tom, and nieces and nephews Jamie and Kevin Corcoran, Madison and Ryan Corcoran, Craig Ciak and fiancé Lindsey, John Guglietta and fiancé Tara and Nicholas and Sarah Guglietta. There will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home followed by burial at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill, CT.
