DeNICOLA, Dr. Michael
Dr. Michael DeNicola, age 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday (September 10, 2013) at his home. He was the loving husband of Jeanne (Lattanzi) DeNicola. Dr. DeNicola was born on April 21, 1928 in New Haven, son of the late Michael and Josephine (Gambardella) DeNicola He opened his private practice in Prospect where he practiced Internal Medicine for thirty years, retiring in 1993. He was devoted to his family and his grandchildren were the light of his life. In addition to his devoted wife of 59 years, Jeanne, Mike is survived by his sons, Michael A. DeNicola and his wife Cheryl of Rhinebeck, NY, Paul R. DeNicola and Theda of Boerne, TX, David M. DeNicola and his wife Andrea of Waterbury and Steven J. DeNicola of Toluca Lake, CA; his daughter, Donna Morelli and her husband Dave of Kensington. He also leaves his beloved grandchildren, Andrew DeNicola, Jenny DeNicola, Chris Morelli, and Matt Morelli.
The Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. John of the Cross Church in Middlebury. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions in Mike's name may be made to: National Parkinson Foundation; Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
