I am so sorry to hear of your loss....John had invited me to come to the Memorial Service at the marina...but wasn't sure if I should.....now I just heard about what happened to John at the marina this past weekend. I am shocked and saddened.....my heart goes out to all his family.....my sincere condolences to you Vinny.....

We love you Daddy and think about you on a daily basis. I know you are in a better place and watching over us and your grandson.. I keep thinking of all the great times that we had together.. your memory will never die.. it lives on through us and Sean.. I'm sure you're having a blast with Grumpy and Luara. Give Grandma Tedford a kiss for me. Love you and see you again someday :)

Its been years since we were together, but it seems just like yesterday when I think about your infectious laughter, your winning smile, your generous spirit and your love for your little girls. As they grew, even though we weren't in the next town any more, they knew their daddy loved them and the quality time they had with you each summer is something they looked forward to and will always remember. As they have grown into young adults, their relationships with both of us have changed, but their love for you never faltered. Rest in peace, Michael.

Daddy there isn't going to be a day that goes by that I don't think about you, miss you, and wish you were still here with us. Even though at times it was hard living so far away from you, nothing ever changed that I could pick up the phone at any time and hear "(laugh out loud) hey sweetheart" and make all my worries go away (or atleast until we hung up the phones), and then I was back to worrying about you again. Until the day I get to see you again and give you the biggest hug EVER, I'll cherish every memory I had with you & hold on to those memories knowing that I will see you again. I love you and even though this was so sudden & unexpected, everyone must find comfort in knowing that you are in a much better place where there are no worries and you can boat & fish all day, every day, as much as you want. Do two things for me please: give Grumpy, Aunt Luara, Kodi, & Grandma Tedford hugs for me please and watch over me and bless me, which I already know you are. I think I might go fishing this weekend, for the first time EVER, so I can see what you found such comfort in. I love you and will miss you forever Daddy.

Mike "43" Lanzieri has been a life time friend of my father and therefore my family. He was instrumental in helping my father through the tough times when [grandma] his mom passed. I will never forget the image of you standing there: tall, military hair cut, black suit and tie, hugging dad. He was always there,always around, always looking out and always had a voice / comment ("your Fweety") that would make you laugh. I have so many memories with him: driving his house boat down the CT River, standing on the scaffolding to side a house of a 3 story duplex in New Britain, the opening day fishing / camping adventures, the war stories while you were in the Marines when I was getting deployed overseas, most recently going to showings while Melissa and I were house hunting and so many more. You will be missed Mike, I'm glad my Dad and I have all the memories we do, they will be cherished forever.
God Bless, and please keep an eye on "43" and "43 2" from heaven...don't let any harm come our way.

My family will always remember all the good times our families shared and my sons will never forget who they learned how to fish from. I think of our our retreat's together and our times on the boat. He was a good man and a great friend. I remember him mostly from his stepdaughter Kayla who was a good friend of mine. She loved him more than you could imagine and he loved her even more. Whenever she needed him, he was there
I remember the day he had his heart attack in 2001, my father spent almost the whole day with Mary at the hospital. That was the kind of relationship my family had with them. It was a special bond with my family in which no one can fill.
I know very little about carpentry, but what I do know, I learned from him.
And also how to fish, because he taught me that as well.

Mike... We shared many good times back in the day. I have shared some of these stories with family and friends through out my life. Wishing I kept in touch with you over all these years. So many great memories! You loved to sing... You would belt out Molly Hatchit like you were the lead singer... Remembering the going away party when u went into the Marines, where u shaved off your hair except for an arrow... So many more stories... You always bring a smile to my face! I am very sad that Michael has left us..but at the same time I know his spirit is in the hands of God. This I do know. I will miss him always, his genuine caring personality has touched me and my daugheter Gigi Marie's life forever. He always listened and cared for people. he was someone who if you ever met him, you would always walk away saying what a great guy. He was full of laughter in spite of all life put in his path. god bless you Michael.

My condolences to Michael's family. i last saw Mike buiding a deck for the O'keefe's on Brent Drive in 2008 i believe.. next to my parents house. We were joking around about old times and i noticed two uneven boards which Mike didnt notice, he thanked me in a sarcastic term before i scooted away, but he took the time to come see me across the street to sit and chat afterwards. He will be missed by so many people who's lives he touched thru the years.
