Nancy Planeta Obituary
Nancy L. Planeta, 60, of High St., Higganum, died Tuesday November 11, 2014 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born in Middletown, the daughter of the late Anthony and Lillian (Cipko) Planeta. Nancy was a special education teacher at Regional School District No. 17. She is survived by her partner in life, Philip Goff; several cousins, and her "children" Lilly and Jack, her beloved dogs. Her Funeral Liturgy will be held Friday (Nov. 21st) at 9 a.m. at St. Peter Church, Higganum. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chester. There are no calling hours. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to Critter Calvary, 608 Eastcastle Court, Franklin, TN 37069, The Humane Society of the United States, Dept: Memorial Donations, 2100 L Street, NW, Washington, DC 20037 or the ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929 or at ASPCA.org.
