Nicholas Carroll Obituary

Nicholas Albert Carroll, 76, of New Britain, beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed from this world on February 24, 2023. Nick was an enthusiastic lifelong learner. He attended classes at many local universities, graduating with honors from UConn with a master's degree in business. He had musical and artistic talents too, and when younger, excelled in martial arts. After high school, Nick enlisted in the US Army, trained in Special Forces and served with honors for two terms in Vietnam, receiving the Bronze Star Medal. We remember his sense of humor, kindness, keen intelligence and sensitivity. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends, especially sister Nina, nephew Karl, niece Liz, godson Zak, Regina, Chris, Henry, Teri and their families. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1755 Stanley Street, New Britain at 10:00am. Please meet the family of Nicholas Carroll directly at church. New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home have been entrusted with arrangements. Donations may be made to the Veteran's Home in Rocky Hill, CT in Nick's name in lieu of flowers. For an online memorial, please visit www.NewBritainSagarino.com.

His wit and friendly banter, during our conversations at lunch, will be greatly missed; but not forgotten. A final salute to you, my fellow service member!
