JONES, Odette Lee Odette Lee Jones of Short Hills, NJ, died at home on Thursday, (September 9, 2004) after a brief illness. Born in Bootle, England, Mrs. Jones, 85, was a graduate of Our Lady of the Lake School in San Antonio, TX and attended the Sorbonne in Paris. She was a longtime resident of Elizabeth, NJ. Mrs. Jones was actively involved in her community including volunteer work at the NJ Center for Visual Arts in Summit, the former Vail-Deane School of Elizabeth, the Family and Children's Society, the Elizabeth Garden Club and the NJ Symphony. She was a past president of the Elizabeth Junior League. She is survived by her three children, Clayton III of Simsbury, Lee of Concord, NH, Suzette of Downingtown, PA; and two grandchildren, Clayton IV of Mt. Pleasant, UT, and Tracy of Newport, RI. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Atlantic Hospice, 33 Bleeker St., Millburn, NJ 07041 or the NJ Center for Visual Arts, 34 Maple St. Summit NJ 07901. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon, September 25, at St. James the Apostle Church in Springfield, NJ.
