Paul Castoro Obituary

CASTORO, Paul Paul Castoro, 88, of Church Street, Middletown, husband of the late Rose (Moncardi) Castoro, passed away on Friday, (March 21, 2008) at Waters Edge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Middletown. Born in Marsala, Sicily, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Santo Castoro. Paul moved to Middletown in 1960 and lived there for 50 years, and was an avid gardener who was well known for his grape vines. He is survived by a son, Jeffrey S. Castoro of West Dundee, IL and three nephews, James, Sal, and Joe Castoro of Illinois. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, March 27, at 9 a.m. in St. Sebastian Cemetery in Middlefield. Friends may call at the Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown on Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. and may send messages of condolences to the family at www.doolittle funeralservice.com.
