FAILLA, Paul Paul Failla was born June 6, 1940. He died in July at Hartford Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Paul was a graduate of Bulkeley High School and lived his whole life in the South End. He was a kind, gentle man, known to many for his helpful, modest nature, his love of movies, and his extensive coat collection. He will be remembered by all his friends still living and working in shelters and soup kitchens throughout Hartford. A memorial service will be held TODAY for Paul and all the homeless men and women who have died this past year at 4 p.m. in the Memorial Garden at Mercy Housing (St. Elizabeth House) 118 Main Street, Hartford.
