To All the Family,
I am saddened to hear of Paul's passing. He was a man of inner strenght and conviction. As the Community Relations Director at Barnes & Noble in Enfield, Paul approached me with his book. As you know we set up a signing and discussion. He had a very successful appearance, but more importantly drew people who shared similar experiences. As we spoke I learned that as a child I walked past the house he lived in on Pearl St. in Thompsonville. We shared many coversations. Though I am not with Barnes & Noble any longer, (now with the Wethersfield Board of Education), I will again read his book in his honor. he touched a lot of lives in many ways. And he lifted the bar of how to live and appreciate life a lot higher. And to that I thank him. God Bless.

Margit, Paul Jr, Laszlo & Eva,
So sorry to read of Paul's passing. As you might recall I met Paul & Margit in June 1979. Paul reminded me so much of my Great Grandpap Gentsch (German descendent). I was impressed with Paul's work at TWC and pleased that Paul Jr got involved and continued to work with his dad. Over the years I had the pleasure of visiting with Paul and Margit sitting at the dinner table to share thoughts and enjoy a little home made brew.
A real treat was to read Paul's book, Gulag to Rhapsody which he autographed for me. This book gave me more insight and understanding of the man who wrote it.
I will miss Paul.
Martfit & Paul Jr, I will be in touch.
Sincerely, David S. Joyce
