I only met Peter the one time, however they say that you can know a man by simply looking to his wife and children (the Legacy he leaves), and in doing so it is very evident just how great a man Peter was.

Sincere condolences to Lori and the girls and the entire family. Will miss seeing Pete, laughing and smiling together. The toughest lefty I ever faced... big sweeping curveball, inside corner almost unhittable fastball to lefties, nasty changeup. Had alot of fun on the field and in the parking lot after our games too! Infectious smile, always a good time to be around and genuine human being. I know he will be missed in so many ways, by so many different people. Keep him close and take time to heal. Bobby B

This guy was fun. Big " Hey Cool Aid" smile and personality to match. Always made ya feel like you were his best friend. Was a privilege to play ball with this guy. Protector Pete I used to call him because if you messed with George you were going to have a problem.

My love to his Family.

I was really shocked and saddened to hear of Pete's passing. I grew up in Coventry and he was a few years older than me and I always remember him as a guy that I looked up to. He had many great qualities including a great sense of humor and great leadership ability and I appreciated how warm and friendly he was even to a kid he didn't know all that well. As an adult I ran into Pete several times and it was always a positive thing...I admired him every time we got a chance to catch up. He was a truly good soul and he lived a noble life...he's gone way too early. May God bless his friends and family as they deal with his loss...he was a wonderful human being.

I just found out about Peter's passing and wanted to send my thoughts and prayers to his family. Peter was a great guy who I had the good fortune to cross paths with many times over the years through our careers with the court system, and can honestly say he was a person who I truly enjoyed working with. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Pete Palmer was one of the finest people I have ever known. I had the pleasure of calling him a friend for over 25 years and can honestly say that I have never heard anyone say a negative word about him. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son and friend. He truly was selfless. He not only helped any family member or friend who needed him, he chose a career helping people find justice and freedom. Pete was always there for his friends whether they needed a sympathetic ear, a helping hand or a kick in the pants. He gave so much of himself and expected so little in return. Whether you knew him as Pete, Pistol, Palmer or my personal favorite Pete Paaaaaalmerrrrr, if you were lucky enough to know him, you were truly blessed. His big heart and bold laugh will forever be missed. The world truly is a better place because he was here and his passing has left a big void in our hearts and our lives. Rest in Peace, my dear friend. We love you.

I believe we will see Pete again in Heaven.

Lori and family, I grew up with Peter and knew him as a really cool kid, a great athlete and a friend back at Coventry High. What I missed out on, which I realized during my Hospital visits and conversations with you, is that he he grew up to be a wonderful husband, fantastic father and an all around great guy --- the go to guy! He will always be with you, in your heart and in your mind, and to guide you all through the rest of your lives. I am sorry that he was called away, but as we shared together, there's another mission for him...Please let the love and kind words from family, past friends and new friends comfort you and help you heal from your loss. RIP Pete! My heart goes out to you all!

Lori, Macey Madison, and Palmer family
Im sorry for your loss. I know you have heard these words more times than you can count, they spin around and around like a broken record. I also know that each time that unwanted music reaches your ears, it is met with an unsettled disbelief, sadness and gratitude.
The thing about death is that it does not come nicely wrapped in a card board box with a set of instructions on how to grieve. I can understand, though only to a certain degree, what your heartache may be. However, I do not know how your grief manifest itself, a song on the on the radio, a joke or phrase that Pete would tell, or the day your body finally finds its self with out of tears when you need them the most.
Hold your grief like a trophy. Wear it with pride. Know each day that coping with the loss of Pete is an extraordinary feat and you are doing it one step at a time. Be inexcusably proud of your own strength. Cherish all the good times you had and seek Solace with friends and family. Let those memories you hold guide to a place of peace.

There are no words to express how deeply saddened I am to hear of Pete's passing. Pete was a significant part of our life during the CVP cheerleading years. "Papa Pete" was the best cheerleader for the Panthers! He was a man who would always make you smile, was consistently fun to be around and had a kind heart and a caring soul. I will never forget the image of Pete carrying his beautiful daughter Macey off the mat after she was injured but finished a routine. Pete was that kind of a man. Lori, I love you and my heart aches for your loss. I am here for you. Pete was a friend. The world has lost an amazing man as Heaven gained a truly wonderful "superhero" of an angel. To Lori, Macey, Madison, and family...may time heal your hearts and eventually change tears of sadness to smiles of the happy memories Pete has left in your hearts for a lifetime. Sending prayers and sincere condolences.
