Richard BINKOWSKI Obituary

BINKOWSKI, Richard J. Richard J. Binkowski, 73, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Suffield, CT entered into eternal life on July 21, 2010 in Ft. Myers. He was born on June 3, 1937 in Southington, CT, one of six children of Aloysius and Mary (Muszynski) Binkowski. A resident of Fort Myers since 2002, he graduated from Southington High School and attended Hillyer College, both in CT. Richard was a retired corporate officer in the food industry, he loved to play cards, travel and golf, he was a member of Heritage Palms Country Club, Fort Myers. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marjorie R. (Marotto) Binkowski, his son, Joseph and his wife, Patricia of Parkland, FL and Southington, CT, his grandchildren, Jordyn and Olivia, his brothers, Aloysius (Trina) of Plainville, CT and Robert (Marie) of Southington, CT and his sisters, Dorothy DeLuco of Milldale, CT and Eleanor Burdette of Plantsville, CT. He was the brother of the late Elizabeth Fusco. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on August 13, 2010 at 10 a.m. in St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St., Plantsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Blessed Pope John XXIII Church,13060 Palomino Lane, Ft. Myers, FL 33912. Friends may sign the guest book at www.horizonfunerals.com.
