Robert Gene Frenette Sr.

It is with a heavy heart that his family announces the passing of Robert Gene Frenette, Sr. Bob passed away Sunday October 15th with loved ones by his side. Bob served in the Marine Corp in the 1950's and spent the rest of his working life in various aspects of the construction and trucking industry. Along with his strong work ethic his love for his family was unmeasurable. He enjoyed his winters with Judy in Florida fishing off the beach, working in his yard and on his home, riding his Harley or just sitting in "his" chair with his dog Dolly by his side on Sunday afternoon watching Nascar. Bob leaves behind his beloved wife of 57 years Judith Frenette and his favorite 4-legged baby "Dolly-girl". Those that called him "Dad", daughter Robin Lewis and her husband Mark, son Robert Frenette Jr. and his wife Margret, son Rick Frenette and his fiancé Annette O'Meara, daughter Rachel Frenette and her boyfriend R.J. Davidson. His treasured grandchildren and great grandchildren that called him "Papa", Jennifer Lewis and her son Isaiah, Bethany Lewis her fiancé Michael Ellis and their daughter Alexis Ellis, Courtney Lewis, David Frenette and Travis Frenette. Bob also leaves his extended family and many friends, especially his step-grandchildren, Travis Quinlan, Oliver Hooper, Avery Hooper and Gwynne Hooper or as he referred to her "Gabby". A celebration of life has been planned for October 29th 2017 at the Tunxis Plantation Ballroom from 1:00pm to 5:00pm with memorial words from the family at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, and in honor of his service dog Dolly, donations can be made in Bobs name to K9's for Warriors. This is an organization that pairs rescue dogs with veterans.
