SCHULTZ, Robert A. Robert Alfred Schultz, 58, of Bristol, passed away on Monday (October 10, 2005) at home with his loving family beside him. He was the husband of Maryjane (Blake) Schultz. Robert was born on May 27, 1947 in New Britain to Helen (Skalaban) and the late Alfred Schultz. Robert was a Plainville resident most of his life. He graduated from Plainville High School, where he was Captain of the Football team. Robert also attended Graham Jr. College and Central Connecticut State University. He then worked in sales for the 3M Corporation for many years. Robert enjoyed golfing as well as his trips to Rode Island to go fishing or boating. But what Robert enjoyed most was his family, they were his stepping stones, no matter what, he had them by his side and loved every minute of it. He is a man who will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Besides his devoted wife Maryjane, Robert leaves his son Ryan A. Schultz and Loretta of Avon and his daughter Melissa Lea Schultz and Kurt of Charlestown, NH; also his two sisters Carol Timbro and her husband Michael of Middlefield; Maryann Davis and her husband James of Plainville; a brother-in-law Scott Blake and his wife Kyle; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles; a close cousin John and Maryellen Ribeck and all his other cousins. Robert also leaves many special friends as well as his fraternity brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Friday October 14, at 9 a.m. from Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Bobby was a great person, he always made me laugh. He loved his family and cherished friends. He welcomed me into the Fraternity family twenty years ago and now I know he is welcomed into the Kingdom of heaven. I will miss him very much, his laugh, hospitality and his strong spirit. He will be in my heart always. I pray for Mary Jane and the rest of his family may God give you all peace.
