Shawn T. Robbins, 36, of Manchester, formerly of Bolton, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Manchester on December 12, 1984, he attended Bolton High School and had lived in Manchester and Bolton most of his life. He worked as a freelancer in home improvement, construction and maintenance. Since the fort-building days of childhood, home improvement projects came easily to him. Shawn's creativity shined through in all he did and in his passion for music, nature and tattoos. His true love; however, was spending time with his friends and family, especially with his children, Gwen and Logan. He looked forward to their Sunday Funday's hosted by his beloved mom. To know him is to love him. Shawn lived life on his terms, in, and for the moment. He would light up a room and always made everyone feel like his favorite. He was the kindest, most caring, genuine guy with the biggest heart and the best hugs. His love and place in his family and friend's lives is irreplaceable and he will be truly missed by all. He is survived by his children Gwen and Logan Robbins of Manchester; his mother, Teri (Corcoran) Mitchell and her husband John J. Mitchell, Jr. of Manchester; his father, Thomas J. Robbins and his wife Carla Robbins of Bolton; his siblings, Sheena (Robbins) Wraight of Bolton, Michael and Carly Robbins of Bolton, Jennifer Mitchell of Coventry and Patrick J. Mitchell of East Hartford; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Terence and Janasia James, Madelyn Wraight and Mason Newman; along with his many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who were like family. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester on Tuesday, December 29th, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. A private funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. and will also be lived streamed at www.facebook.com/TierneyFuneralHome.
