IWANICKI, Stanley Paul (Doc) Stanley Paul (Doc) Iwanicki, 91, entered into eternal peace on Friday (May 21, 2010) at the Suffield House and was reunited with his beloved wife Amelia who predeceased him in 2000 and daughter, Karen Garon who predeceased him in 1988. Stanley was born in Ansonia, the son of the late John and Teofila Iwanicki. Stanley, affectionately known as Doc to family and friends, grew up in Manchester and resided in Enfield most of his life. He was formerly employed by Hamilton Standard for forty years and retired in 1980. He was a faithful communicant and member of St. Adalbert's Church in Enfield. He enjoyed bowling, pool, golf, fishing, watching baseball, and polish music, but the most important part of his life was his family. Stanley is survived by his beloved family: a daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Ned Eliason of Charlotte NC; three grandchildren, Todd Garon and his wife Kim of Vernon, Renee Sandone and her husband Steven of Windsor Locks, Jill Hoyt and her husband Brad of Suffield; also two great-grandchildren, Adam and Nathan Sandone. Stanley was predeceased by a brother, John Gvensky. Stanley's family would like to thank the staff at the Suffield House for the wonderful care given to Stanley. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at St. Adalbert's Church, burial will be in the St. Adalbert's Cemetery. Stanley's family will receive relatives and friends at Browne Memorial Chapels 43 Shaker Rd.
