Steve was a dear. sweet man who selflessly gave his time and shared his expertise whenever I needed help with my computer or just wanted advice about technical issues. While living with his disability he proved himself to be strong and independent. He showed his concern for others in many ways.
Steve will definitely be missed. I want to offer my deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family.

I never met Steve personally, however, he helped me MANY times with computer issues over the phone. He seemed to be a kind, patient man and I know he will be missed by all those who knew him. Jehovah willing, I'm looking forward to meeting him in the New System. I send my heart felt love to all that knew and loved Steve.

Steve was loved by MANY. His expertise with computers saved the nerves of countless techno-challenged friends, and he unselfishly gave of himself to share his knowledge with patience and a quiet strength.
Steve was a part of our lives.
So,now, whenever the phone rings, whenever we're trying to handle some crazy computer issue, or playing the many CDs and DVDs he provided for us, or listening to meetings on the phone tie-in, or having breakfast at Friendlies(just around the corner from Steve's house), he's in our thoughts and often our conversation.
He touched so many with his warm and caring personality and he was a GOOD friend. We miss him every single day.
Of course, as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, he firmly believed in the resurrection of the dead back to life on a paradise earth, in perfect health, so of course, it's this promise that comforts us as well. How we look forward to the joy of that day, and seeing our friend again.
In the meantime, we hope the knowledge of how much Steve was loved by SO MANY, will comfort family and friends .

Marty, Janet, Karen and Mary. I'm sorry to hear about Steve. He and I had some great times together modifying his car, building his room fixing things around the house and playing drums. We learned a lot from each other. I will see you on Wednesday.
