My belated yet heartfelt sympathies on your loss. Sue was my babysitter when I was a child in Thomaston,CT having grown up next door to her family's home on South Main St. I sent Christmas cards for several years which were not acknowledged and this year for some strange reason was led to this site. I feel I now have closure to why she was nolonger in touch with me.

Dear Meighan and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Mrs. Rourke was such a kind and loving person. I'll always remember how happy she was on Meighan and Tim's wedding day - she was such a proud mother of the bride. No doubt she is among the angels now, watching over you. She will always be in your hearts. God bless.

Dear Meighan and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I met your Mom only twice, and each time she was the most gracious woman in the room. I hope she is at peace now and I know She is being treated with great love and tenderness in her after life. I didn't know her well, but I could tell she was a very good and loving Mother. May you be comforted by the lovimg memories you have of your Mom and by the loving family you have. My sympathy to your Dad and Sister and of course to you. You and your family are in my prayers for healing from this terrible loss. May God take care of your Mom with all the love and kindness she deserves.
With deepest sympathy,
Christine Vayda

Mr. Rourke, Kerry and Meighan,
I'm not sure you'll remember me, but I had you as students at Wesley School. I was so sorry to read about Mrs. Rourke's death in the paper.
I remember her as a loving mother who worked hard for her daughters. I know she was an active member of Wesley School and its activities. You have my condolences and you're in my thoughts and prayers.
