Susan H. Baker

Susan H. Baker, 52, of Bristol, died Monday, (August 5, 2002) at Bristol Hospital. She was born December 10, 1949 in New Britain, daughter of the late Gerald W. and Elrose (Bickerton) Baker. A lifelong resident of Bristol, she was employed at the Allstate Insurance Company from 1970 to 1984 and at CIGNA HealthCare from 1984 to 2002 where she was presently working as a telecommunications specialist. She is survived by her two beloved sisters, Judith Baker and Roberta "Birdie" Baker, both of Bristol; her beloved brother, David Baker of East Hartford; her beloved brother-in-law, Thomas DeCarolis of Bristol; her two beloved nephews, Jason DeCarolis and Michael DeCarolis, both of Bristol; her beloved aunt, Dorothy MacPherson of Plainville; her beloved cousins, Scott and Julie MacPherson of New Jersey, Robin and John Sytulek of New Britain, Ronald and Lisa Orde of Kensington, and Fred and Janet Orde of Kensington. She was predeceased by her beloved sister, Diane DeCarolis. Funeral services will be held on Friday, 9 a.m., at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the the First Congregational Church, Book of Remembrance, 31 Maple St., Bristol, CT 06010.
