WEISS, Veronica A. "Ronnie" Veronica A. "Ronnie" Weiss, 63, passed away Sunday, (January 7, 2007). Born in New York, NY., November 1, 1943, daughter of the late Celia Drossel and Genevieve and Edwin Powell, she resided at Haven Health in Cromwell and was formerly a resident of Avery Heights in Hartford. She was a caregiver and an LPN at hospitals in the New York and Hartford areas and was associated with St. Mary Home in West Hartford for many years. Ronnie was a compassionate, caring and giving friend. She is survived by her dearest friend, Helene Morin of Belchertown, MA and the entire Morin family along with many friends and acquaintances. Graveside services will be held Friday, January 26, at 11a.m. in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 US Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902 or to the American Diabetes Association, 300 Research Parkway, Meriden, CT 06450. Arrangements are being handled by The Ahern Funeral Home, 180 Farmington Ave., Hartford.
