William NOBLE Obituary

NOBLE, William William Robert Noble, beloved husband of Rose Noble of South Windsor, was born on May 15, 1929 and unexpectedly left this earth on Thursday,(May 5, 2011). Son of the late Raymond and Emma (Alt) Noble, William grew up in East Hartford graduating from East Hartford High School Class of 1947. He went to work for Pratt & Whitney and retired in 1989 after 30 years of service as a welder. In 1970 Bill married Rose Viera, the love of his life, and together shared 40 blissful years. The couple lived in Glastonbury before settling in South Windsor in 1978 and after retirement, sought refuge from the bitter New England winters in Florida for six months of the year. Bill was a member of the Elks and Moose Lodges, an avid trout fisherman, and hunter. His greatest joy in life was the love he had for his family. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife Rose, Bill leaves two sons, William T. Noble and his wife Deborah of East Hartford, and John D. Noble of Coventry; two step-sons, Paul Graham and his wife Andrea of California and Leonard Graham and his wife Cynthia of Florida; a brother, Robert Noble and his wife Joy of South Windsor; a sister, Caroline Johnston of East Hartford; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his son, James Noble and a brother, Raymond Noble. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of his family with arrangements under the direction of Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd. in South Windsor. Bill's family extends sincere appreciation to Officers Kristian Lindstrom, Daniel Cain, and Kevin Geraci of the South Windsor Police Department for their compassionate assistance. Rose and family,

I am so very sad to learn of Bill's passing. I just saw you and Bill a few days ago walking through the complex, and Bill gave me a big smile. I can't express how sorry I am and how much Bill will be missed. My heart goes out to you and your family.

You and Bill were a team, and I know how close he was to his family. It will be a very difficult time for all of you, and I want you to know that your family here at Cinnamon Springs cares about you and will be here to support you. Please concentrate on the wonderful memories you shared with Bill, and it will help you get through the next few months.

Please take care.

Love,

Steve Merrick
