Edmund Loya Obituary
Ed lived in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Ed was born on January 11th, 1954, and passed away from cancer on May 10, 2024.
Ed lived with his wife Garnet Loya, daughter Shannon Gutierrez, son Jeffery Loya, and his stepson Chad Rogers. He has three grandchildren that live in town with him. Ed's only grandson is Alfredo Gutierrez, his second youngest granddaughter is Alani Gutierrez, and the youngest granddaughter is Alenah Loya. Two of his grandchildren live in bullhead. They are the two oldest out of the 5. The oldest granddaughter is Kylee Loya and the second oldest is Haiden Loya.
Edmund was in the Eagle Riders. He was married to his wife for 43 years but was with her for 45. He was loved very well through his rough times. Almost every day Ed loved to ride his bike with his granddaughter Alani. Anytime he got a chance he would go ride his bike with some friends from the Eagle Riders. Almost every year Edmund did the Toys For Tots ride because he loved helping kids.
Every few months he would go on rides with his wife and the other Eagle Riders. In 2023 they just did their yearly trip to South Dakota. He saw everything he wanted to see when he was out there. Edmund liked to fish with his grandson Alfredo. Edmund always loved building cars when he got spare time. Edmund was a very kind person and always loving to his family. Ed was the second oldest out of four kids. He was preceded into death by his parents Augie and Bernice Loya and brother Robert Loya. Ed's two youngest sisters are Veronica Borunda and Caroline Hall.
Services will be held on June 8th at VFW 266 London Bridge Road, Lake Havasu City, Az 86403. His last ride will start at 10am. We ask everybody to be there at 9:30. The celebration of life will follow at 11:30 a.m.

OH NO I just read about Ed's passing, I knew him right out of high school when he was married to my sister. I thought the world of Ed. May you rest in peace my friend and brother. Love Eric Manhart
