Frank Schroeder Obituary

Frank J. Schroeder was born on Feb. 6, 1947 in Chicago to Frank S. and Valentine Schroeder. Frank passed away peacefully on Jan. 15, 2021.
He served in the Air Force from 1966 to 1970 where he spent his entire term of service at Offutt Air Force base except for boot camp. On Aug. 26, 1967 he married his high school sweetheart Donna. They lived in Omaha until his release, and returned to Chicago where he worked for Illinois Bell. In 1985, they took a chance and moved to a small town of only 15,000 people called Lake Havasu City. They took a year off and enjoyed the warm summers and boating on the lake. His mother Val moved and lived with Frank and Donna until her death in 1994. Frank delivered newspapers to the stores and racks for USA Today and the Today's News Herald.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Donna, his sister Charlotte and brother in law Herman Marx of Surprise Arizona., his sister in law Patty, his brother in law Ralph Kapust, his favorite cousin Linda Cline of Michigan, and best friends for over 50 years Bernie and Mary Stark of Ocala Florida, and many nieces and nephews. Per his request there are no services planned.
Arrangements were entrusted to Lake Havasu Mortuary. Rest in peace Frank Schroeder.
