Mark Fineman Obituary

Mark Fineman, 68, of Lake Havasu City, passed away on March 6. Mark was born on Oct. 5, 1954 in Santa Monica, California.
After becoming sober on Oct. 16, 1982, Mark decided to dedicate his life to helping others. He went to college and obtained his master's degree in human resources + organizational behavior, which led him to become a drug and alcohol counselor. Mark worked with Mohave County Probation for 31 years and helped build the foundations of addiction treatment. Over those years, Mark worked with countless people, kids and families. He touched many lives by supporting others through their addiction and sobriety journey and helping families through various life challenges.
While he was a pillar to this community, he was also one for his family. He is survived by Cheryl, his wife and love of his life, his daughters Jessica Salter (husband Ken, daughters Becca, Symphonie + Allie), Leah Hemphill (husband Jacob, son Sonny), his sons Josh Mundy (wife Taleya, daughter Indii), Michael Mundy (wife Sierra, son Nolan) and his three sisters Linda Gallagher (husband Dennis), Barbara Linton (husband Tom), and Briannaa Ariel.
When he was not spending time with his family, you could find him at the golf course, at a meeting, playing guitar, working out or at a casino. He was known for his love of golf, his unorthodox stance and his glares. Mark finally got his 'hole in one' on Sept. 19, 2021 after 30 years of playing. He is predeceased by his parents Bernard and Helen Fineman.
A celebration of life will take place at the Lake Havasu Golf Club on March 31 from 5-8 p.m. where we will enjoy all of Mark's favorite desserts and a 21 ball salute at sunset.
In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Arizona Youth Partnership (https://www.azyp.org/donate) or Beacon of Hope Hospice, Non-Profit Foundation,1760 N McCulloch Blvd Lake Havasu City AZ 86403.
We want to thank Beacon of Hope Hospice for making Mark and his family's life easier and more peaceful through their dedication, compassion and exemplary care these last few months.

I´d hope to speak to a family member. I realize I´ve been too late to reconnect with Mark after a traumatic incident in 1971. I´m glad Mark dedicated most of his life to helping others. "The Middle Class Girl" from Portland, Oregon.
