Patricia Duncan Obituary

Patricia Duncan, a woman of exceptional strength and determination, passed away on April 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and commitment that will forever resonate with those who knew her. Born on November 24, 1942, Patricia was a woman of many passions, but her love for her wife Barbara Freitas, whom she was married to for 34 beautiful years, was the most profound. Helen Keller once said, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all", and Patricia, being an adventurous and ambitious soul, lived this quote to its fullest.

In 1970, Patricia moved to Lake Havasu City and quickly became a pioneering force in its growth and de-velopment. Her ambitious spirit didn't stop there; she was an avid lover of horses and sailing, and her adventurous spirit was infectious. Patricia was an indomitable woman, a challenge to satisfy, but her tenacity and dedication were her most endearing qualities. She imparted her wisdom and strength to her beloved daughter, Annie Popp, teaching her everything she knew and instilling in her the same resili-ence and zest for life.

Patricia's life was a true testament to her strength and love for her family and community. Her absence will be deeply felt by those who were fortunate enough to know her, especially her wife, Barbara, and her daughter, Annie. Her life was a journey of strength, love, and commitment, and her memory will continue to inspire and guide us.

As we mourn the loss of Patricia, we also celebrate the remarkable life she led. We invite all who knew her to share their memories and photos on the memorial page. Your stories and pictures will serve as a tribute to Patricia's adventurous spirit and the beautiful life she led.

Pat Duncan was my boss at Trico Engineering. She was a hard working lady who did it all for Annie back in the 70´s. Pat helped develop the tracts for McCulloch Properties. I learned so much from Pat. She & Annie are forever in my heart
