Dickie Lee Rasnick, 73, of Viper, passed away on March 25, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center. He was the son of the late Tolley Elwood Rasnick and the late Julia Mae Kiser Rasnick. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Corrine Wells; one brother, Gerald Rasnick; two sisters, Ella Rasnick and Shirley Zinzer; two sons, Richard Lee and Mark Wells; and two daughters, Angie Short and Barbara Hall.
He is survived by five sons, Johnny Wells, Bobby Gerald Wells, Timmy Wells, Dickie Lee Wells, Jr., and Eric Wells; 10 daughters, Cindy Hubble, Ursula Turner, Myra Johnson, Tammy Shockey, Tina Pelfrey, Valerie McIntyre, Pam Brewer, Della Ritchie, Aundrea Cole, Carla Rasnick; six sisters, Norma Looney, Betty Wise, Mina Deboard, Sharon Skaggs, Judy Chaffin, and Velma Springs; one brother, Carrol Rasnick; 32 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard's Mountain View Chapel, where family received friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, March 27, and funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 28, with Chad Campbell officiating. Interment was at the Resthaven Cemetery in Jeff.
