Charlotte Trainer Obituary

Charlotte Ann Trainer

December 20, 1940 - March 10, 2021

Charlotte Ann Trainer passed away to be with the Lord on March 10, 2021, with her loving sons at her side.

Char was born December 20, 1940, to Henry and Elizabeth Hoffman in Helena. After attending Catholic school in Helena she married Thomas Trainer and they began their family with son Thomas Jr. followed by Ronald, Elizabeth (Betty) and David. Her home was open to everyone and many neighborhood kids who would disappear or run away were usually found at the Trainer home.

Char enjoyed hunting and the outdoors, going to the senior center to play cards, and crafting. She especially looked forward to going through the gate to her neighbor and best friend Sue's for coffee each day.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom, and sister Rita. Char's beloved daughter, Betty, passed away three days after she passed. She is survived by her three sons Thomas, Ronald and David and 4 grandchildren; Megan, Sarah, Miranda (Jordan) and CharRae and 3 great grandchildren: Ryleigh and Dakota (Sarah) and Hudson (Miranda).

A double service will be held at St. Helena's Cathedral on Thursday May 6, at 12:00 Noon followed by burial of ashes at Forestvale Cemetery. A reception lunch will follow at the Staggering Ox.
