Eamon Clancy Hansen
April 17, 1980 - April 24, 2022
Eamon Clancy Hansen was born on April 17, 1980 in Helena, Montana to Alec Hansen and Colleen Clancy Hansen. He was preceded in death, by only 8 hours, by his father. On April 24, 2022 Eamon lost his battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Addison's Disease, due to pneumonia. He was a gentleman and a scholar. He adored kids and especially loved his sister's children: Gus, 14; and Elsie, 6. He missed seeing his dear cousins Clancy Casey, Molly Casey-Holahan, Erin Clancy-Tunstall, and Regan Clancy. He also enjoyed visiting with the Hansen cousins: Billy Costigan, Marilyn Gray-Costigan, and Sheila Gray-Bennett.
Thank you will never suffice for all of the staff at Providence St. Pat's in the ER, ICU, and on all the floors. All of the doctors, nurses, food servers, housekeepers, therapists, and all who smiled at Eamon will not be forgotten.
In our home we will never forget how Eamon was treated by his caregiver Kitty Mack. Also, Peggy Pearce, Eamon's nurse, prayed nonstop for a miracle. Thank you to Norco for bringing supplies and to Bryan with Medicab. Also thank you to Missoula for assistance in bringing Eamon to appointments at New Directions.
Eamon was predeceased by his father Alec Hansen, within a matter of hours. See Alec's obituary for the names of family members who loved Eamon dearly.
A funeral mass will be held for Eamon and his father on Tuesday May 3, 2022 at noon at the Cathedral of Saint Helena with a reception at the Holter Museum.
Donations can be sent to Providence St. Patrick's Hospital, New Directions at the University of Montana, the Cathedral of St. Helena, or Carroll College.
