James Albin Hultman

1944 - 2024

James Albin Hultman passed away peacefully at the VA Hospital on May 10th, 2024. As James himself would say, he had a good life with no regrets. James was born on March 16th, 1944, and he grew up in the Bozeman area, developing his love for cars and adventure early in life. His father was a policeman and his parents had two sets of twins, all boys! James left school early and joined the Navy where he was able to see parts of the world he otherwise would not have. He was Honorably Discharged after receiving several medals including a Bronze Star while serving in Vietnam. He spoke fondly of the lessons learned while in the military. After the military he embarked on several careers, as he would say, "more than most men could ever hope to have or experience."

What was most important to James, however, was his dedicating his life to his God, Jehovah. He loved people and loved sharing his faith with all who would listen. One highlight for James was when he was able to share his experience on a Convention part in Billings shortly after his baptism.

Unfortunately, shortly after his baptism he developed MS and soon was no longer able to participate in the door-to-door ministry. Something he loved to do. That did not stop him from talking to others, even sharing his faith with the doctors and nurses during his final days in the VA hospital.

James was loved and will be missed by many in the community and certainly by all his spiritual brothers and sisters whom he viewed as his family.

He enjoyed long talks with his niece, Laurie Field, whom he loved very much.

We love you James, rest well until we see you again.
