Mark and I served together in VP-46. When I came into squadron electric shop he was one of the first guys I met. We became very good friends right away. Mark, being a few years older, seemed like an "old salt" to me, I was 19, he as 22, HA! He was like a big brother and I always felt that way. He was instrumental in learning ins and outs of the aircraft, not to mention we had a lot of fun together. We shared a rental off base in CA, great times! We even traveled the country together when we were both done with our service. He came up to MN were I grew up for a while and then I moved to CO and the adventure continued. As life would have it we lost contact for a while. Got reunited when I moved to MT. He'll be missed by many.
Rest in peace my brother, I pray we meet again.
Pete
