Billy Christian Obituary


BILLY JOE CHRISTIAN, 63, of Barboursville, died at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV, on Sunday morning, November 3, 2024.
He was a beloved primary grade-school teacher, singer, and lifelong Dolly Parton fan.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary (Queen) Christian, his brother Michael Christian, and sister Tammy Christian (Tommy).
He is survived by his nephew Corey Christian (Amanda and children), niece Cassie (Porter) Wallace (William and children), and niece Cati and Kev.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville.

Mr. Christian was my favorite teacher. I remember him playing with us on the playground at school. He would act as a sportscaster as we climbed the steps to the slide. He was an amazing teacher and person. I´m sorry for your loss.
