Carl Witt Obituary

CARL WAYNE WITT, 86, of Ironton, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. He was born in Ironton, Ohio on November 18, 1938 to his late parents; Reuben Witt and Edna Redd Witt. Funeral services will be 12 Noon, Friday, August 15, 2025 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. 7th St. Ironton, Ohio with a Masonic service provided by Lodge #198 and Rev. Steve Harvey and Seth Bledsoe will be officiating. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 6 - 8 p.m., and from 11 a.m. on Friday until the time of the funeral service. Burial will follow the funeral service on Friday in Woodland Cemetery with military rites provided by VFW #8850. The Ironton Fire Dept. will serve as pall bearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Sharon Baptist Church, 2010 S. 5th St. Ironton, OH 45638. Please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net to offer condolences to the family.
