DAVID BRUMFIELD Obituary
DAVID MICHAEL BRUMFIELD, 56, of Huntington, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Tim Arthur. Burial will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, W.Va. He was born February 12, 1960, to the late Erma Sweeney Brumfield. David was a former concrete finisher with Bailey Stone and Marble of Huntington. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marsha Pennington and Susan Damron. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Linda Estep Brumfield; two sons and a daughter-in-law, David Brumfield Jr. and Jennifer Brumfield and Randy Brumfield, all of Huntington; daughter Angel Brumfield of South Point, Ohio; grandchild Alynsia Nicole O'Brien and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. until service time Friday at the Reger Funeral Home. Condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com.

It truly saddens my heart to hear of the passing of "Little Dave" so I have always known him to be. He was a great person with the warmest and freshest smile a human could share with those who knew him, or was fortunate enough to meet.My husband passed away in 2012, Bill Whitmore, but he he thought so highly of you, and it would have been with great sadness to to hear of this tremendous loss. My heart and prayers are now for the family for loosing such a wonderful asset to society, and a remarkable man to his family and friends. You gladly taught many the secrets of your trade, and helped many freely without thinking of material gain, that's just the kind of man you were. May you rest in peace in the bosom of our Father who is in heaven my friend...you will be greatly missed by more than you would've ever known, for you touched the lives of many unknowingly ***
