Gladys "Juanita" Muncy

GLADYS "JUANITA" MUNCY, 81, of Huntington, WV, passed away January 19, 2026 under Hospice Care of Huntington at the Madison Park Healthcare facility.
Juanita was born January 31, 1944 in Waco, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Hallie D Bias and Gladys N Carroll Bias. She is preceded in death by her late husband of 50 years, Everett "Earl" Muncy; two sons, David Earl Muncy and Cecil David Muncy; two brothers, Bill Carroll and David Lawrence Bias.
She is survived by her son and her Angel on earth, Jason Earl Muncy of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Jenny L. Bias of Wayne, WV and Barbara Ann Petrosky of Mount Vernon, Ohio. A very special niece Annette Plybon McCloud of Lavalette, WV; and an abundance of other nieces and nephews.
Juanita was employed by Owens-Brockway Glass for over 25 years until their shutdown in 1993 when she relocated to Columbus, Ohio with her family and went to work at Techna-Glass where she then retired. Juanita was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend.
She was a beautiful soul who will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
Reger Funeral Home, Huntington will be handling arrangements and a graveside service for her family will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow. There will be no procession to the cemetery. www.regerfh.com.
