GLADYS THOMPSON WILLIAMSON

1925 - 2016

GLADYS THOMPSON WILLIAMSON passed away surrounded by loved ones on September 6, 2016, at the age of 91, in Brady, Texas. Gladys was born June 11, 1925, in Logan County, West Virginia, to Herb and Myrtle Adams Thompson. She and her late husband, Naaman Williamson, were blessed with six children, Naaman, Joyce, Laura, Pamela, Gary and David. Gladys was a woman of strong faith and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-day Saints. Family was always first and foremost in her life.She loved cooking and baking for her children and grandchildren. She loved to make cookies and her famous chocolate cake. Her loving, caring heart and beautiful smile will be forever missed by those who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Naaman Williams; parents, Herb and Myrtle Thompson; as well as two sons, Gary and David Williamson. Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Landgraf, Laura Donaldson, Pamela LaForge and Naaman Moorehouse; 13 grandchildren; as well as 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Brother Don Mills, with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Dock Creek Cemetery, Kenova, W.Va.
