Herbert Dillon Obituary

HERBERT VELLO DILLON, 97, of Milton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. He was born May 12, 1928 in Lincoln County, a son of the late Rufus and Ann Dillon. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Violet Johnson Dillon. He was a life long member of Susannah Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by two sons, Michael Dillon (Faye) and Eddie Dillon (Debbie); five grandchildren, Missy Petitt (Teddy), J.D. Dillon (Jessica), Jessica Noe (Jared), Tracey Berry (Travis) and Scott Dillon; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to Noon Friday, August 8, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be at Noon Friday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Greg Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock.
