JEAN FERGUSON, 91, of Georgetown, Kentucky, passed away January 18, 2019, at her residence. She was born January 27, 1927, at Wayne, W.Va., a daughter of the late Oscar Kenny and Mary Huff Davis. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her husband, Henry Russell Ferguson, son Bernard Ferguson, sisters Ruby Jackson and Ruth Riddle Lazear, and brothers Don Davis, Charles Davis and Mac Ray Davis, also preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Henrietta "Retta" Angle of Saint Onge, South Dakota; son Carl Ferguson (Carolyn) of Catlettsburg, Ky.; sister Betty White of Culloden, W.Va.; sisters-in-law Sally Ferguson, Phyllis Crabtree (Howard), Mildred Davis and Nina Ferguson; seven grandchildren, Jason Ferguson, Angie Ferguson, Cristen Pulliam (Bob), Kenneth Ferguson (Wendy), Mary Grace Yeagley, Kelee Evans (Justin), Sarah Jackson (Lavallion); 17 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. The family extends a special thanks to her caregivers Angela and Patrick Damron. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, W.Va., with Brother Everett Stevens officiating and eulogy by her nephew Larry Jackson. Burial will follow in the Bartram Cemetery, Fort Gay, W.Va. Visitation will be from noon until service time Thursday at Morris Funeral Home.
