JOAN ADKINS STULTZ, 88, of Lavalette, WV went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born June 7, 1936 in Leslie, WV, a daughter of the late John Baptist and Gladys Osburn Adkins. Joan was a member of the East Lynn Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Kenneth Robert Stultz, a sister, Sylvia Ross, and brothers, Charley Adkins, Billy Adkins and Jackie Adkins. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Robert Stultz, II of Lavalette and Scott Stultz and wife Sherry of Huntington; a sister, Patricia Stultz of Lavalette; and a brother, Freddy Adkins of Huntington; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends whom she loved.
Joan faithfully served in ministry with her late husband at churches in Warfield, KY, East Lynn, WV, and Milton, WV.
Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, WV with Rev. Jody Lucas and Rev. Scott Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Wayne. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Wayne Healthcare Center, and to the staff at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the East Lynn Church of God.
