Hermena Stultz

1931 - 2026

Hermena (Whitaker) Stultz, 94 of Franklin, passed away on Tuesday morning, January 20th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 20, 1931 in Pulaski County, Kentucky to Wilson and Minnie (Van Hook) Whitaker. She married Robert "Bob" Stultz on June 4, 1966. He preceded her in passing on June 22, 2023. She is survived by children, Michelle Stucker (Doug), Melinda Howard (Dennis) and Rocky Stultz (Rana); grandchildren, Craig Graham (Linda), Hillary Neuman (Zach), Taylor Stucker (Jolene), Alex Stultz, Jake Stultz (Haley), Luke Stultz and Zaya Stultz. Also surviving are seventeen great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Bob and siblings, Estella Tucker, Elta Hash, Bonnie Spitzer, Kathleen Bible, Roscoe Whitaker and Delford Whitaker.

Hermena was a graduate of Union High School.

She worked in the Accounting field until she was married.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church; Franklin Elks Lodge No. 1818 Ladies Auxiliary; Hillview Country Club and The Legends of Indiana. Hermena enjoyed cooking, entertaining family and friends, golfing, gardening and spending time with family.

Pastor Kevin Whitaker will conduct a Celebration of Hermena's life on Saturday, January 24th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin with Visitation on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to time of service. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Indiana.
