Two County 7 Miler ! It was satisfying to breeze past runners who packed on 10 lbs of turkey and pumpkin pie two days before and gratifying to gorge on those deserts after the race. Always the exact same race shirt year after year, but why tamper with perfection?

I am unable to attend funeral to give this memory to Mary. I recall Dick and Mary ran a small hamburger/hotdog eatery across old Rt 52 from the vet clinic in West Chesapeake. We often went there to play pin ball and loaf after school, and Dick was so good to us boys living in Harbor/Fields Terrace. Thank you Mary and Dick for some fond memories.
