Dear Lanhams,
We were so sorry to hear of Lilly Faye's passing, you all are in our prayers.
We had heard of her initial hospitalization, but we were not aware of her passing until yesterday.
We will all miss her as a sweet and dear cousin, and as a source of strength in our family.

Mrs. Lanham was one of my favorite teachers in high school. She was fair. She was friendly, and the things she taught me were practical. I use them to this day. I think that this is her legacy. I am sorry for your loss.

Among many other activities she was a beloved Girl Scout Leader and always remembered all her girls. Whenever we would meet she always asked about our daughter and her family.

Mrs. Lanham was wonderful teacher. Her visits to PPHS to substitute for the band director were always a treat. Very sad to hear of her passing. Gary Monroe (PPHS 1970)
