MARGARET LOUISE SOWASH ASHWORTH

1924 - 2018

MARGARET LOUISE SOWASH ASHWORTH, 93, of Milton, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. She was born on July 16, 1924, in Mason County, daughter of the late Charles and Clora Irwin Sowash. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Willie Woodrow Ashworth, and her son, Theon Ashworth. She was also preceded in death by her three brothers and three of her four sisters. She is the last surviving member of the Hannan High School Class of 1943. She worked at Owens-Illinois, Milton Foodcenter and was also a homemaker. She was a member of Chestnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church for 73 years. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Dreama Ashworth, and granddaughters, Hannah and Heather Ashworth of Glenwood, W.Va.; one sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth "Libby" and Ward Camp Jr. of Ashton, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 6, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, W.Va. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Mark Hesson at Chestnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church on April 7 at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the funeral.
