Norma Frances Workman "Fran" Knapp

NORMA FRANCES "FRAN" WORKMAN KNAPP, 87, of Foster, KY, formerly of Ceredo, WV, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024. She was born November 13, 1937, in Spencer, WV, a daughter of the late Jay W. and Mamie Thompson Workman. Fran married the love of her life, Robert Lee Knapp, and worked to make a happy home for him and their children. Together they attended the First Baptist Church of Ceredo where they were active in many church ministries. In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Fran was also preceded in death by two sisters, Janet Needs and Evelyn LaBombard; three brothers, John Workman, Robert Workman and her twin brother, Rev. Fred Workman; a daughter-in-law, Jean Knapp and her father and mother-in-law, Led and Justine Knapp. She is survived by one daughter, Jaye Lynn (Edward) Hebel; one son, David Knapp; three granddaughters, Sara, Ashley and Emily; six great-grandchildren, Dylan, Connor, Leigh Lynn, Silas, Sully and Frankie; and two sisters-in-law, Edie Workman and Betty Workman. Fran will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be from 11 to 1 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, WV. The funeral service will begin immediately following the visitation with Pastor Jeff Canterbury officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
