Ricky Browning Obituary


RICKY L. BROWNING, 64, passed away in his home July 27, 2025, in Murrells Inlet, SC. Born on June 14, 1961, Ricky dedicated his life to the open road as a truck driver, a career that suited his love for conversation and his ability to make friends with ease. Known for his strong work ethic, big heart, and easy smile, Ricky left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Beyond his professional life, Ricky was a devoted husband to his wife, Terri L. Browning, and a loving father to his daughter, Sarah Browning, and son, Clark Browning. His dedication to his family was unparalleled, pouring his love, time, and energy into their lives every day. He also cherished his role as a grandfather to Mylah Bryant, Maelynn Bryant, and Colby Browning.
Ricky is survived by his mother, Lois Browning; siblings, Kevin Browning, John Browning, and Pamela Reynolds; and his daughter-in-law, Doni Lemley, and son-in-law, Deron Bryant. His life brought immense joy to his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Mike Browning, David Browning, and Terry Browning, and his sisters, Deborah Browning and Marsha Day.
A celebration of Ricky's life will be held at a later date, welcoming family and close friends to honor his memory and legacy.
