Shirley Lucas Obituary

SHIRLEY DIANE LUCAS went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 15, 2023.
She was born on September 21, 1932, and was the devoted wife to Ronald "Ron" Lucas for nearly 50 years. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, neighbor and friend.
Her family would like to thank Hospice of Huntington, Sandy, Trisha and Kelly for their skill, kindness and compassion.
Also, a debt of gratitude is owed to her five compassionate caregivers, Sandy B, Sandy R, Nancy, Teresa, Sheila and Carla who Shirley referred to as her "girls" for their love, devotion, patience, care and friendship in the final years of her life. You truly were the hands and feet of Jesus.
Shirley was laid to rest by her husband in a private ceremony at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE.
Reger Funeral Home assisted the family.
Online condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com.
