Tammy Black Obituary


TAMMY BLACK, 61 of Milton, W.Va., passed away peacefully March 8, 2024, in St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born April 4, 1962, daughter of Okey and late Brenda Bates. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald S. Black. She was in food service with Cabell County Schools. She is survived by her son, Shawn Bates and his wife Ashley; grandchildren Caeleigh, Isaiah, Isaac and Caitlin; stepdaughter Missie (Jon) Barnett; stepson Donald "Dink" (Christina) Black; sister and brother-in-law Diana and Chris Black; step-grandchildren Corey, Cassie, Hunter, Katie, Blakeley and Anna. Additionally, she is survived by her companion, Ronnie Jackson. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane, W.Va. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday prior to the service.
