Coach Carroll has had a huge impact in my life. He taught me lessons from the time I was in the 6th grade and throughout graduation from Holy Family that I still use and share with others today. Hope we made you proud, Coach. Thanks for everything.

Coach Carroll was truly a great Coach, not only did he teach us how to be good ball players, he taught us team work & true love of the game. I am proud & honored to have played for him, and will always remember being part of the team that beat Ashland in the AIT, one of his happiest moments. Coach was the 'voice of sanity' at AHF. RIP Coach.

Met Coach Carroll as a young sportswriter at Ashland Daily. His stories of life and basketball remain with me to this day...and how his little Holy Family team upset Ashland in the AIT – chewing his gum and saying "If I only had one big man, I'd...
Loved his dry wit and attitude.
RIP Coach – and make those foul shots.
A fine coach and good man.
