Adrian Kaisor Obituary

DECATUR - Adrian Theodore Kaisor, 96, of Decatur, formerly of Macomb, IL died Thursday, September 6, 2007, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be 2-4 P.M. Sunday, September 9, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 10, at First United Methodist Church, Decatur, with graveside services at 2:30 P.M. in Oakwood Cemetery, Macomb. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or to the donor's choice. Mr. Kaisor was born June 16, 1911 in Macomb, IL, the only child of James T. and Nell Estelle (Kutcher) Kaisor. He married Virginia (Teel) Kaisor on July 9, 1938 and celebrated 65 years of marriage before her death in November of 2003. He graduated from Bardolf High School in 1929 and Gem City Business College in 1931. He also graduated from the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin. He began his 40 year banking career at the Union National Bank in Macomb, IL and spent the last 20 years of his career at the First National Bank of Decatur where he retired in 1976 as Vice President of Operations. He was honored as "Boss of the Year" by the Business Women's Club in 1971. He was active in the Masonic Lodge, Kiwanis and Golden K Clubs in Decatur. He enjoyed playing golf and after retirement, spent 20 years enjoying the Florida winters away from the cold weather of Illinois. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Decatur. He is survived by his son, Allen Kaisor (Regina), of Smithton, IL and a daughter, Carol Selby, (Ken) of Rantoul, IL, 5 Granddaughters, Cyndi Dodge, Becky Fields, Sara Stanley, Denise Kiesewetter, and Valerie Duff, and 9 Great grandchildren. I would like to express my condolences to the family. Mr. Kaisor was the sweetest kindness man i ever knew. I took care of him at ManorCare and I must admitt he was my favorite and he will be missed. May he rest in peace.
