Beverly B. Groves 78, of Warrensburg, Ill., passed away at 12:50 a.m., Friday, August 22, 2025, in Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, Ill.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 3, 2025, in the Illini Congregational Church, Warrensburg, Ill. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Calvert & Wikoff North Chapel. Interment will be in Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg, Ill. Beverly was born January 2, 1947, in Decatur, Ill., the daughter of Everett and Stella (Camp) Brown. She married Oren B. Groves on October 3, 1981. He preceded her in death March 23, 1987. Beverly was a registered nurse for 45 years and retired from St. Mary's Hospital in 2005. She was a lifelong member of Illini Congregational Church where she served as organist for nearly 60 years.

Sports were a big part of her life, whether playing, coaching or cheering on her favorite teams, the Cubs, Bears, and Fighting Illini. She also loved to travel, a joy she passed on to her children through family vacations across the country.

Surviving are her daughters: Pam Morrow (Sam) of Mt. Pulaski, Ill. and Kimberly Groves of Warrensburg, Ill.; grandchildren: AJ Morrow and Micah Morrow both of Mt. Pulaski, Ill.; brother: Stephen Brown (Kathy) of Mt. Zion, Ill.; brothers-in-law: Roy (Linda) Groves of Bloomington, Ill., Paul Groves of Maroa, Ill.; nephews: Mike (Dedra) Brown of Westminster, Colo. and Phil (Kim) Brown of West Chicago, Ill., Richard Groves of Alvarado, Texas; nieces: Christy (Tony) Duddleston of Mesa, Ariz., Paula (Mark) Groves of Prattville, Ala.; four great-nieces.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband; sister-in-law, Darlene Groves; nephew, Jeff Groves; niece, Lisa Groves; and her parents.
