Bob thoroughly enjoyed studying genealogy, was an avid reader of Civil War and President Abraham Lincoln books and growing beautiful roses in his flower gardens. He was a lover of all living creatures but especially his dogs, Gus and Shiela.

Surviving is his son: Darren Myers (Susan) of Lake Wylie, SC; special friend: Carol Tobias of Decatur; granddaughters: Audrey Leihser (husband Trevor Hoban) and Morgan Myers; great granddaughter: Mila Jones; many nieces and nephews also survive.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife: Cheryl, brother: William Clyde Myers, his sisters: Elizabeth Stollard & Peggy Myers, and nieces, Tammison Stollard and Peggy Sue Holman.
